About Shelby

Coming from a family of professional horsemen, Shelby has been involved with and riding horses her entire life. In 2019 at age 19 she opened her business, Above Level Training. She offers lessons for all seats and she specializes in training saddleseat, huntseat, showhack, costume, starting, finishing and equitation horses. Shelby has been fortunate enough to work for some of the top trainers from the age of 13. At age 14, she started training her own show horses and has earned multi national titles and 2 National Champsionships. She has tons of talent and has a lot of experience with show horses. After graduating her last youth nationals in 2018 Shelby decided to open her own business and help her clients achieve their dreams.

Shelby has grown her lesson program and has a love of helping students of all experience levels become a team with their horse. She enjoys taking students from beginners to experienced to the show ring to meet their goals. She focuses on helping each rider have a fun and positive experience at horse shows and at home in lessons.
